Develop a water source strategy and water security plan to support the exploration and production of oil and gas assets in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin (WCSB), focused in west central Alberta.
The Result
Integrated Sustainability delivered a comprehensive water sourcing strategy and water security plan built on a quantitative risk-based multi criteria analysis (MCA) of:
• Source options
• Regulatory challenges and opportunities
• Cost effective conveyance and storage infrastructure options
• Flowback recycling and disposal options
The solution also included a geographic information system (GIS) platform to facilitate decision support and regulatory reporting.
