Developed a formal strategic plan for key external stakeholders to efficiently and proactively identify the potential risks that may remain on the former refinery site.

The Result

Determined potential risks and next steps required to mitigate risk implications. Identified all key stakeholders impacted by the decision. Achieved alignment with all key stakeholders regarding solution.

Source Water Treatment & Pipeline Study

Changing regulatory requirements surrounding the use of fresh water for Steam Assisted Gravity Drainage (SAGD) heavy oil extraction resulted in the need for this study. Through it, Integrated Sustainability was able to provide a quantitative comparison of the capital, operational and maintenance costs of all feasible water options, while validating the basis of design and the technical feasibility of pipeline transport and on-site water treatment.
