The Challenge

Integrated Sustainability was retained by a natural gas producer to evaluate 3 sites and several water intake technology options for a 60,000 m3 per day water intake on the Liard River in northern British Columbia.

At a later date, Integrated Sustainability was then retained by a second natural gas producer to evaluate a River Bank Filtration style water intake on the Liard River in northern British Columbia.

The Result

Integrated Sustainability delivered the initial field investigation program, regulatory compliance strategy, site selection, and technology selection for the initial client.

Integrated Sustainability was then able to utilize their experience and skill with RBF technology to evaluate surface water availability, and alluvial sediment extent/hydraulic conductivity and characterization along the Liard River for a 20,000 m3/day system.
