Riverbank Filtration (RBF) River Intake Pilot Study

Have Questions? Let's Discuss Riverbank Filtration (RBF) River Intake Pilot Study

Alluvial Aquifer Characterization Program

The Challenge

Integrated Sustainability’s client had a requirement to identify a reliable source of surface water infrastructure to support their development work activities in the surrounding area. Additionally the infrastructure had to have low environmental impact on the surrounding area, and ensure that the river, a main transportation route for that area, could still be used by transportation barges without restricting their movement.

The Result

Following review and analysis, Integrated Sustainability selected a suitable site location for execution of drilling activities. Field testing and analysis confirmed a suitable location for a Riverbank Filtration (RBF) system to be constructed.
